Early intervention Support at ABC Therapy — Across NSW

Early childhood development relies on a child's ability to process and respond to sensory information from their environment. At ABC Therapy, our occupational therapists support children whose sensory processing may be affecting their development, learning, and everyday participation. Through tailored sensory processing interventions, we help children build confidence and skills during these critical early years. Examples of activities we use include sensory swing work to develop balance and body awareness, exploration of different textures and materials to build tolerance, and structured play activities that encourage appropriate responses to sounds, movements, and touch. ABC Therapy recognises that every child develops at their own pace, and our therapists work collaboratively with families to identify what's working well and where additional support might help. If your child is accessing early intervention support through the NDIS, our registered status means ABC Therapy can work within your funding plan. We focus on building your child's participation in everyday routines—whether that's mealtimes, transitions, or play—rather than isolated skill-building. Our approach is grounded in understanding your child's sensory profile and creating environments and strategies that support their development.
