Understanding NDIS OT Funding

The $193.99 hourly rate is the standard NDIS Pricing Arrangement for occupational therapy delivered as a therapeutic support. This rate applies regardless of whether your child is seen in a clinic, at home, or at school, provided the therapist is NDIS-registered.

What's Included in This Rate

The hourly rate covers direct face-to-face therapy time with your child. However, there are additional charges you should know about:

• Travel costs: If your OT travels to your home or school, you may be charged travel time at $48.50 per 15-minute increment (2025-26 rate), depending on distance and your plan rules. • Non-face-to-face activities: Planning, report writing, and communication with schools or other services may be charged separately at $48.50 per 15-minute increment. • Reports: Formal assessment reports or progress reports requested outside standard therapy time are typically charged at the non-face-to-face rate.

Checking Your Plan

Your NDIS plan letter will show: - Total annual hours of occupational therapy funded - Whether travel is included or charged separately - Any restrictions (e.g., home-based only, school-based only)
