About this snapshot
Occupational Therapy Australia's 2025 NDIS Provider Survey found that most occupational therapists report a waitlist, and more than half report a wait of 12 weeks or longer. That survey captures what practitioners say about their own businesses. This page is a complementary, ground-level view: the current, clinic-by-clinic availability that OTWaitlist tracks across paediatric occupational therapy clinics in Greater Brisbane.
It covers the paediatric OT clinics we track in Greater Brisbane — not every clinic in the region — and every figure on this page shows the number of clinics it is based on. Availability and wait times are self-reported by each clinic and can change at any time, so families should always confirm directly with a clinic before relying on a wait estimate.

How we compiled this
OTWaitlist maintains a directory of paediatric occupational therapy clinics and periodically asks each clinic to confirm its current availability and typical wait time. The headline count above reflects only clinics in Greater Brisbane that confirmed their availability to us within the last 90 days. The status breakdown additionally includes current availability published on clinics' own websites, which we treat as "checked" rather than clinic-confirmed. Each statistic states the number of clinics it is based on so the sample size is always visible.
Limitations: this is a snapshot of tracked, recently-checked clinics only — it is not a census of every paediatric OT clinic in the region, and clinics we have not checked recently are excluded rather than guessed at. Wait times are self-reported by clinics, are typically expressed as a range, and reflect the wait for an initial appointment rather than any specific service. A clinic listed as taking new clients may fill that capacity quickly. We do not weight by clinician numbers, so a sole practitioner and a large multi-clinician practice each count as one clinic.
Update frequency: the snapshot is rebuilt from current records on each site update; the date above reflects the latest rebuild. If you operate a clinic and want to correct or update your listing, contact OTWaitlist.
