ADHD Support at Inspiring Possibilities — Across VIC

Children with ADHD often experience difficulties with attention regulation and sensory processing, which can impact their ability to focus, organise tasks, and manage their environment. At Inspiring Possibilities, our occupational therapists address these challenges through targeted interventions tailored to each child's needs. Our sensory processing support helps children develop better body awareness and self-regulation strategies—for example, we might use weighted blankets or cushions during learning activities, or incorporate movement breaks with a therapy ball to help reset their nervous system. Our handwriting services address the fine-motor coordination and sustained attention required for writing tasks, using strategies like pencil grip exercises, rhythm-based activities, and adaptive seating to support focus. These interventions work together to help children manage their attention difficulties in everyday settings like school and home. Inspiring Possibilities is NDIS-registered, meaning many families can access funding through the 2025-26 scheme to support these services. An occupational therapist cannot diagnose ADHD, but we can identify how sensory and motor factors may be contributing to attention challenges and work collaboratively with your child's medical team.
