ADHD Support at Cloud Nine — Across NSW

Cloud Nine supports children with ADHD and attention difficulties through two complementary service areas. Our ADHD service helps children develop strategies for managing attention, impulse control, and executive functioning challenges in everyday settings like home and school. Our sensory processing service addresses how children's nervous systems respond to sensory input—many children with attention difficulties experience sensory sensitivities that can intensify restlessness or distraction. At Cloud Nine, we combine these approaches with practical interventions tailored to each child. Examples include using weighted lap pads or fidget tools during focused tasks to improve concentration, creating visual schedules and activity sequences to support task initiation and completion, and designing movement breaks with sensory equipment like balance boards to help regulate attention between activities. Our occupational therapists work with families to understand what works best for their child's unique profile. If you're accessing NDIS funding (2025-26), many families use their plans to support these services. Please note that occupational therapists cannot diagnose ADHD or sensory processing disorder—diagnosis comes from medical professionals—but we can help manage the functional challenges these conditions create.
