ADHD Support at Confident Kids — Across NSW

Children with ADHD and attention difficulties often benefit from targeted support in sensory processing and fine motor skills, both areas where occupational therapy can make a meaningful difference. At Confident Kids, our occupational therapists work with children to improve their ability to process sensory information and manage their attention in everyday situations. Sensory processing interventions might include activities like using a sensory swing or weighted lap pad to help children regulate their nervous system and improve focus during learning tasks. Fine motor work addresses the coordination and control needed for writing, drawing, and self-care tasks—skills that can be challenging for children with attention difficulties. For example, therapists at Confident Kids might use precision grip exercises, threading activities, or handwriting practice to build strength and confidence. These services can be funded through NDIS support plans (2025–26 funding arrangements) if your child is registered, though Confident Kids can also work with families exploring other funding options. Our therapists work collaboratively with you and your child's school to ensure strategies are practical and sustainable at home and in the classroom.
