Motion Health Kids Therapy supports children with attention difficulties through targeted occupational therapy addressing sensory processing and fine motor skills. Children with ADHD often experience sensory sensitivities or seek sensory input to help regulate their attention and behaviour. Our sensory processing interventions may include activities such as using sensory swings or weighted equipment to help calm and focus the nervous system, alongside movement breaks that support sustained concentration during learning tasks. Fine motor development is equally important, as difficulties with pencil grip, handwriting, or scissor control can compound attention challenges in classroom and home settings. Motion Health Kids Therapy incorporates fine motor exercises like threading activities, playdough manipulation, and controlled drawing tasks that build both skill and confidence. These interventions work alongside strategies to improve body awareness and coordination, which many children with attention difficulties find beneficial. While occupational therapists cannot diagnose ADHD, we can identify and address the underlying sensory and motor factors that may be contributing to attention difficulties. Many families access our services through NDIS funding (2025-26 pricing arrangements), making therapy more accessible. Our team works collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to create a comprehensive support plan tailored to each child's needs.
