For example, we might incorporate sensory swing work, weighted equipment activities, or tactile exploration exercises tailored to each child's needs. Fine motor difficulties can affect writing, self-care tasks, and play skills. Motion Health Kids Therapy addresses this through targeted fine-motor exercises such as threading activities, scissor work, and hand-strengthening games that build the precision and control children need for school and everyday tasks. Many families access these services through NDIS funding (2025-26 pricing arrangements), which can cover occupational therapy support for eligible participants. It's important to note that occupational therapists cannot diagnose autism spectrum disorder—diagnosis comes from medical professionals—but we work collaboratively to support the specific functional challenges your child experiences.
